Periodontal Care
Your gums, and the underlying bone, are crucial to maintaining your teeth. When gums bleed, it is an indication that irritants are attacking the supporting structures of your teeth. By measuring the space just under the gums, along with x-ray analysis, it can be determined if periodontal (gum) therapy is needed. Bone loss as shown below is not reversible, so early detection is very important.
